Tickers have been filling at an amazing rate. While I do my best to accommodate everyone, it is not always possible. If all the obedience spots are taken, one option would be for you to reserve a space in the Rally ring and put yourself through a run. You would have to work around the Rally stations and there is no judge, but there are plenty of distractions! You would also be welcome to join in on sits & downs in the obedience ring.

* CONFORMATION DROP IN: This is an hour long class, with a cost of $15.00 per person working a dog. We work the entire hour. You can swap dogs as often as you like (if you are training multiple dogs). Q. What is a ticker? A. Tickers are "practice" runs with your dog. Tickers are a set amount of time, so that EACH participant gets the same amount of time as everyone else. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q. What kind of tickers are there? A. Currently, we are offering 3 "kinds" of tickers- Obedience, Rally, and Conformation. OBEDIENCE 10 minutes- ANY registry (AKC, UKC, CKC, ASCA, etc.), ANY level (Novice, Open, Utility, Pre-Novice, Grad. Open, Team, Brace, etc.)- you can even do a combination of any of these. There are sits & downs 1-2 times each ticker. Tickers are for you to work on what you NEED practice on. You tell US what you want. * Note NEW time size* Newest changes in red10 minutes- There are 2 courses set up- you choose which courses & signs you want to do. Courses will be designed as follows: one course will be NOVICE only (with the exception of an added jump), the other course will be ADVANCED / EXCELLENT combined. You can do both courses, or just concentrate on perfecting one! There will be a walk-through period at the beginning of each ticker date. The purpose of this set-up is to get as many stations on the course so that YOU can work on the ones you need to work on! CONFORMATION WHAT TO EXPECT- A 30 minute block of time (e.g. 6 to 6:30) will be filled by a MAXIMUM of 6 dogs. The dogs in a given group may be any size & any breed (including mixed breeds). All the dogs in that time block will be in the ring the WHOLE time. These Conformation tickers are for your dog and you to GAIN ring experience. All dogs will have “hands on” time (including table time for applicable breeds), and your dog will be “gone over” & “sent around” AT LEAST TWICE. Your gaiting order will also be switched to give the dogs the experience of gaiting in front of, in the middle of, and behind other dogs. You can get feedback from the judge (if you’d like), BUT this is not a class- this is PRACTICE so that you and your dog can become comfortable in a ring environment. * The 30 minute block of time may be reduced with small (under 4) groups of dogs * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q. How much do tickers cost? A All tickers are $8.00 per ticker. Payment can be cash or check and is to be paid when you arrive for tickers. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or you'll be expected to pay for the missed tickers. Until missed tickers are paid for, you will not be able to pre-register for more tickers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q. How do I pre-register for tickers? A. Because of the volume of people interested in tickers, pre-registration is recommended but not required. You can always take your chances and just show up to see if there is space available.
