Dog Smarts

Aa-Bhoo

Aa-Bhoo is Kaa's brother.  They came to live with me when they were four weeks old.  A co-worker had been 'adopted' by a stray cat that had a litter of five.  I was cajoled into taking one- then two.  Aa-Bhoo only weighed one pound at his first vet visit!

Aa-Bhoo is my dominant cat.  He has helped train many rescues, fosters, and friends' dogs on the "proper" etiquette in our house.  He also is the cat that rolls over on his back so Kharma can nuzzle his belly.

From a very young age, Aa-Bhoo has retrieved items for me.  First it was the plastic wiffle golf balls that my mother had so THOUGHTFULLY bought for my new kittens.  If I was asleep, he would take them into the kitchen and bat them around the floor at high velocity until I woke up to play fetch.  His favorite toy now is the safety tab off of a plastic milk carton.  I leave them hanging from doorknobs in the house and when he wants to play, he brings one to me.
