Little Girl (Twaddles)

    'Twaddles' is an older cat who is getting used to living inside.  She has spent the past 10 years or so living outside- a neighbors outdoor cat that took up residence in my parent's front yard. 

    My parents built Little Girl a house to sleep in and kept her well fed throughout the 10 years.  When the winter nights became too cold, they would capture her and leave her in the garage in a crate- where she would SCREAM and panic all night.  It was just too traumatic for this cat who had lived all her life outside to become an indoor kitty.

   That all changed when Little Girl had a bad tooth that required surgery.  The anesthesia caused her to be too sedated to release outside.  At this time, it was decided that Little Girl was going to be an indoor only cat no matter what!

    She has now adjusted fine- she doesn't care to be picked up- or chased- and has acquired the nickname 'Twaddles' because of the funny gait she has because of arthritis.  Her favorite place to sleep is next to the fireplace.
